Acceptable Use Policy

PlatePings is for short, practical vehicle-related notices (for example lights left on, blocking a driveway, or a sounding alarm) using preset messages only.

• Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate any person
• Send messages to facilitate crime, fraud, or unsafe conduct
• Impersonate another person or register plates you are not authorised to manage
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape the Service, or probe for vulnerabilities without permission
• Use PlatePings for spam, advertising, debt collection, or mass unsolicited contact
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content (including plate photos)
• Interfere with sticker fulfilment or misuse shipping addresses
• Use the Service if we have suspended your access

• Only use presets that accurately describe the situation
• Do not attempt free-form abuse; the product intentionally blocks free text from scanners
• Do not repeatedly message the same plate to annoy an owner
• Share location only if you choose to; never use location to track someone

• Reply courteously through the provided flows
• Keep shipping and plate details accurate
• Do not use replies to harass scanners or third parties
• Use mute / quiet hours responsibly if you need fewer notifications

We may investigate reports, rate-limit, mute plates, suspend accounts, cancel sticker orders, retain logs needed for safety, and cooperate with authorities where legally required. Serious or repeated breaches may result in permanent bans without refund where permitted by law.
